Who is a Creative Worker?

Under the rules set out by the UKVI, the following eligibility criteria must be met in order to qualify as a Creative Worker under the Tier 5 Creative and Sporting Workers visa.

You Must:

  • ⇒ make a unique contribution to the UK labour market, e.g., you’re of international status or are required for continuity of work
  • ⇒ obtain a certificate of sponsorship reference number
  • ⇒ be paid the minimum salary as set by EquityPACT or BECTU (except for models, musicians or circuses)
  • ⇒ have enough money to support yourself in the UK – you’ll usually need to have at least £1,270 available (unless you’re exempt or maintained by your sponsor)
